With the help of Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini, a 2-day Training Programme was organised for the activists of Mumbai Grahak Panchayat on 5th and 6th December 2009 at Dnyan Naipunya Kendra,Uttan,Bhayandar(W),Thane.401 106.
23 participants including office bearers,invitees and members of managing committee of Mumbai Grahak Panchayat took part.
Chairman Ad.Shirish Deshpande inaugurated the training programme by lighting the lamp. Honourable Vice President of MGP Mr.Vivek Patki, Hon.Trustee Ms.Lalitatai Kulkarni,Hon.Senior member Mr.Kamalakar Pendse and Hon.Dr.Vinay Sahasrabuddhe graced the occasion.
The faculty members guiding the activists included Dr. Vinay sahasrabuddhe, Mr. Vivek Atre, Mr.Prashant Dixit,Mr.Girish Jakhotia and Mr.Chandrashekhar Vaze.
The concluding session was chaired by President of MGP Dr.Ramdas Gujrathi on 6th Dec,2009.

The SHIBIR was well organized and well planned. It created more awareness about the challanges that consumer movement in general and MGP in particular, will have to face. There was good interaction, not only during lectures but also during the off hours. Such SHIBIRs are necessary to show us where do we stand and how we have to achieve our goals.
